Funding Pattern50 per cent of the actual cost of engine subject to a maximum of : (i) Rs.12,000- per inboard engine and Rs.10,000- for outboard engine. (ii)Rs.10,000- for motorized craft. (iii)Rs.20,000- for mechanized craft. As per the existing ceiling under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of the Ministry of Agriculture viz. Development of Coastal Marine Fisheries through Motorization of Traditional Craft. In the event of revision of subsidy ceiling under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme during the Xth Five Year Plan the same shall be followed.

Details 1. The applicant should submit his application to the concerned officer-in-charge in the prescribed format. {Form No. 4}. 2. Scrutiny of the application by the department and selection of beneficiaries by the selection committee. 3. Intimation to the beneficiaries regarding their selection. 4. Deposit of security amount by the selected beneficiary within 30 days (10% of the actual cost of the engine) 5. Procurement of engine by the department based on number of beneficiaries selected/ security amount deposited. 6. Intimation to the beneficiary to deposit the balance cost of engine after deducting the subsidy. 7. Depositing of balance cost of engine and execution of undertaking by the beneficiary. 8. Release of engine. 9. In the event of non-submission of security amount and remaining cost of engine by the selected beneficiaries within the stipulated time the allotment made shall be cancelled and the wait-listed beneficiaries in the panel will be considered in the order of selection. 10. The security amount shall be forfeited to the Government, if the beneficiary fails to deposit the balance amount within the period stipulated by the Fisheries Department.
